FAQ's

My Genius® Swift is not picking up dust.

Your suction hose may be blocked. Try the following:

  • Turn off your Genius® Swift and turn it over.

  • Remove the roller bar cover and pull out the roller brush.

  • Look to see if there are any apparent blockages in the unit and remove.

  • Replace the brush bar and roller brush cover.

Your side brushes may be overly worn or damaged, causing poor pickup. To change your side brushes, do the following:

  • Turn off your Genius® Swift and turn it over.

  • Grasp one of the rubber tabs and the side brush and pull up firmly. Repeat on the other brush.

  • Holding the new side brush with your thumb, index and middle fingers, line the square connector with the white clip. Push into place firmly. Repeat on the other side.

My Genius® Swift is reporting an error with a sensor.

One of the machine's sensors may need cleaning. Try the following:

  • Push the front bumper to ensure it retracts fully and there is no obvious debris blocking its movement.

  • Wipe the front of the bumper to remove any dirt buildup and debris.

  • Check the LiDar cover has no debris caught in the cover and wipe with a cloth to remove dust.

  • Turn your Swift over.

  • The two charging contact points, located on either side of the front wheel, should be free from dirt buildup and dust. Wipe these clear as needed.

  • The machines' three cliff-edge sensors should be periodically wiped clean of dirt buildup and dust.
